Antimonopoly Regulation in the Digital Economy

On April 9-11, the BRICS Competition Centre together with the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia held an International Roundtable on "Antimonopoly Regulation in the Digital Economy" in Kazan.

The event brought together representatives of competition authorities of the BRICS+ countries and international organizations, as well as business representatives, legal practitioners and academics. The experts discussed the challenges facing antitrust regulation in the digital era. The roundtable focused on the problems of regulating the marketplaces, identifying and combating digital cartels, and improving antimonopoly legislation in the digital economy (5th Antimonopoly Package).

On Thursday, April 11, a Meeting of the BRICS+ Working Group for the Research of Competition Issues in Digital Markets was held.
